Where Is the God of Justice?

Malachi, the final book of the Old Testament, was written to prepare the people for the New Covenant. As Pastor Mike Patz continues our series, More Than Religion, looking at Malachi 3, he asks, “Where is the God of justice?” We want a soft solution for a deep stain.

Humans have a curious bent towards wanting justice done, even as we twist it ourselves. When we feel suffering, we wonder where God is. Our God is like a refining fire and fullers’ soap, doing a purifying and cleansing work. The end result of the fire of refinement is that we will look like Jesus. Don’t resist the refiner’s fire. He is coming again, and when He does there will be fire!
