When Worship Offends God

As we continue the series, Malachi: More Than Religion, Pastor Andrea Sarafan leads us in this journey through the final book of the Old Testament.

Malachi 1:6-14 through 2:1-9 speaks about the ways the Israelites were worshipping in their own understanding, not the way that God had commanded. Their religious performance was not done with true covenantal love for the one holy God! He is worthy of our sincere worship, with our very best.

A healthy honorable relationship with the true God demands that we bring Him the honor to His name. This honor is Kabod, a weighty, worthy, worship. His worth is infinite! We are called to bring the weighty honor that is ascribed to God our King.
