When God Speaks – & When He Doesn’t
In times of great desperation, we don’t always see a lightning bolt of direction or hear an audible voice from heaven. Yet, in the face of life-shaping decisions, we desire the deep place of Shalom. As we continue our series, Lent: It’s not about earning… it’s about remembering, Pastor Matt Ulrich unpacks Genesis 11:27-12:8. Abram had a call to the promised land, but there was a delay in his realization of that promise. When God speaks, our response activates the fulfillment of His calling. If God speaks, listen and obey! God’s voice is supernatural, and is the ultimate embodiment of Shalom. Prayer and reading God’s Word every day is a priceless key to reactivating the call and anointing on our lives. Shalom is cultivated and experienced through relational obedience to the fully present God of peace. We are called to be a blessing to others through our obedience.
