The Restored: a Journey to Renewed Hope series continues as Pastor Mike Patz talks about healing from pain and trauma. We may look good on the outside, but on the inside there are wounds and scars. Trauma is unprocessed, unmetabolized pain, and when pain goes unprocessed it becomes toxic. Isaiah 61:1-4 is the prophetic word of the coming of Emmanuel, who is God with us. His restoration involves bringing beauty from the ashes of our pain.
