Get Back to The King’s Table

David was known as a man after God’s own heart. Yet it’s not the perfection of his heart, but at his best, David was pointing to the ultimate King, Jesus.

As we continue the Gospel According to David series, Pastor Mike Patz takes us through 2 Samuel 9. The amazing kindness of our God! From the Hebrew word hesed is the loving-kindness and mercy of God, the covenant friendship we long for. “The Lord, the Lord our God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in hesed and faithfulness.” (Exodus 34:6)

In the kindness of God, King David said to Saul’s grandson, Mephibosheth, “…you shall eat at my table always.” Today, get back to the King’s table. God’s hesed changes everything! The steadfast love of the Lord is ours. Come to Him!
