Take a look throughout the Book of Acts for the prayers they prayed. Let this be our model as we live our lives as passionate disciples of Jesus! In this message of our Reorient series, Pastor Brooke Bauzon continues our look at Acts chapter 2:42, “they devoted themselves… to prayer.” We as the modern church desire to see the unity, miracles, healings, and more that were seen in the early church- right here, right now. All that Jesus began we are supposed to continue, because it didn’t just happen back then, it is happening now. The connector to close the gap is prayer! When we pray things begin to happen. Prayer is our lifeline to heaven; our lifestyle. It’s not an add-on to our services, it is the foundation! Every major move of God was preceded by prayer. It’s not the final call for help, but the first call for hope. Let’s reorient our lives around persistent prayers!
