Begin With The End in Mind
The book of Malachi speaks of a day that is coming, a day in the future that we still have not seen. These words remind us, we must begin with the end in mind. We want God’s promises on our timeline. Yet the promise is “we shall see the goodness if the Lord in the land of the living.” God lives in eternity, and keeps time by a different watch.
As Pastor Mike Patz concludes our series, More Than Religion, we take a look at Malachi 3:13-18, 4:1-3.
We are so prone to give up before the last chapter of the story. When faith feels futile our hearts are in danger! Our relationship with God is not transactional. The day is coming when God’s story for us will be revealed, a love story like none other! He is making us like Him, burning with a pure brilliance.
