As we journey through the book of Mark, Jesus says, “Come follow me.” Class is now in session! Jesus begins His ministry with the power and presence that come from the Father.

Pastor Mike Patz continues this look at the book of Mark chapter 1, beginning with verse 21. Jesus spoke with authority, above the scribes and teachers of the law. This Exousia is the authority that is the right of the One sent from God.

Don’t let fear, a diagnosis, or a feeling sway the authority you have as a child of God! Jesus is not one authority among many. He is the authority above all. Spend time with Him, wonder at the power of God, and walk with Him in authority to a lost world. Be a disciple of Jesus, and go!
