Project Antioch
115 Acres that will Embody the Vision of Greenhouse Church

Project Antioch Update
185 acres
When Greenhouse Church opened our new Hub facility at 11200 NW 39th Avenue in Gainesville, Florida in May 2018, we had no idea exactly how God was planning to use the new facilities. We felt a call to go from Gainesville to the Nations, and knew that here the unsaved would be connected with Jesus, become disciples, and make more disciples. Since the first Sunday service, the commitment to give sacrificially to missions, church-planting, and the poor has been a driving force, and God has honored our efforts.
Over the years, our geographical footprint has grown tremendously. From the 40+ acres we purchased for the initial Hub build, we added additional undeveloped wooded acreage at the back of our property. Then God did something amazing in 2025.
We had the extraordinary opportunity to acquire a tract of new land, 114.8 acres of rolling farm land with stands of huge legacy oaks further north of our current property. In faith, we made this debt-free purchase over the course of less than 90 days. The decision was rooted in the belief that we have a divine opportunity from the Lord to engage in His present-day work of rebuilding the “tabernacle of David”. This vision, drawn from Acts 15:15-17, signifies God’s desire for “the rest of mankind” to seek Him.
The prayers of our church, and the Lord’s answer, have opened the windows of heaven over us.
We continue to seek the Lord for direction on how to best develop the property. The land itself serves as a tangible sign that clearly demonstrates God’s care for four core areas that He has called us to focus on. Even as we were praying through the acquisition of the Hub property several years ago: Prayer, The Poor, Harvest, and Leadership remain the same. This acquisition is not intended to forsake or neglect any other ongoing ministries, but rather to expand the church’s capacity for its mission.
Why?
Acts 15:15-17
Greenhouse Church is embarking on a significant journey to acquire new land, a decision rooted in the belief that it is a divine opportunity from the Lord to engage in His present-day work of rebuilding the “tabernacle of David”. This vision, drawn from Acts 15:15-17, signifies God’s desire for “the rest of mankind” to seek Him.
After extensive prayer and fasting, the church’s three boards (elders, deacons, and trustees) unanimously voted to pursue this land, seeing it as God’s will and an imperative to not “miss what God is doing when he’s doing it”.
This acquisition is not intended to forsake or neglect any other ongoing ministries, but rather to expand the church’s capacity for its mission.
The land itself will serve as a tangible sign that clearly demonstrates God’s care for four core areas that He has called us to focus on even as we were praying through the acquisition of the current property several years ago: Prayer, The Poor, Harvest, and Leadership
Four Pillars of the Vision
“Build for Me a House of Prayer”
Prayer
Creating a sacred space where people can seek God’s face. Prayer chapel, prayer huts, and a refuge where His presence draws people to Himself.
“Remember the Poor”
The Poor
Cultivating the land to serve those in need. Growing food, providing temporary housing, and remembering the poor as God commands.
“The Lord added to the Church Daily”
Harvest
Expanding space for our growing youth and children’s ministries. Creating room for the influx of disciples being made
“Go Make Disciples”
Leadership
Building a restoration hub for missionaries and leaders. Places of refuge for those serving in the field to rest and seek God.

Frequently Asked Questions
The land acquisition is seen as a strategic move to accommodate growth, expand outreach, deepen God-seeking, better support our growing ministries, all while pursuing God’s presence and not shrinking back from current challenges
Is the $1.8M a down payment or the total cost for the land?
What are we going to do with the land?
What’s the vision for the 4 pillars?
-
Prayer: The vision is to create an extraordinary space dedicated to prayer, such as a prayer chapel or individual prayer rooms, where people can encounter the tangible presence of God and seek His face. Our hope is that even travelers passing by on I-75 will feel drawn to this place of prayer, finding an opportunity to connect with God. We long for the tabernacle of David to be rebuilt in people’s hearts as they pursue the Lord on this property.
-
The Poor: Serving the poor and supporting missions is at the heart of this vision. The land presents an opportunity to practically care for “the widow, the orphan, the homeless, the abused, the broken, and the abandoned.” One way we hope to do this is by using the property to grow crops that can be used to feed those in need.
-
Harvest: With our ministries growing rapidly—especially those for children and youth—this land will provide the additional space we urgently need. It will also enable us to improve the flow of traffic in and out of the property, resolving current logistical challenges.
-
Leadership: This property will serve as a central hub for Greenhouse Church’s operations, church planting initiatives, and, importantly, as a place of restoration for leaders. Plans include offering housing for missionaries returning from the field, giving them a space to rest and recover.
