First Be Reconciled

As we continue our Restored: a Journey to Renewed Hope series, Pastor Mike Patz looks at Matthew 5:23-24. To find true restoration, we must be willing to forgive. The most important command is to “love the Lord your God, and your neighbor as yourself”. Vertical and horizontal relationships are permanently connected, and when we do not forgive others it is us who die. Reconciliation is forgiveness plus repentance. There are a lot of things that happen to us that we just need to forgive and forget, for we have all been forgiven much.
