I Have Donations! How Can I Help?

Grace Marketplace is a restorative ministry and many of the individuals we have the opportunity to minister to lack some of the basic necessities needed to get by day to day and ultimately escape homelessness. One of the ways that we can care for one another is by donating some of these basic necessities. Below is a list the items most requested and ultimately beneficial to the homeless in their time of need. These items range from shelter and hygiene to clothing and items deemed necessary for job acquisition.

  • Tents
  • Tarps
  • Rope
  • Work boots (men and women)
  • Non-slip work shoes
  • Bedding
  • Towels
  • Underwear
  • Socks
  • Pillows
  • Toiletries (prefer hotel size)
  • Pads
  • Tampons
  • Nail clippers
  • Tweezers
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Razors (men and women)
  • Deodorant (men and women)
  • Mouthwash
  • Tooth Paste/Brushes
  • Hair Ties
  • Shower Gel/Soap
  • Floss

Quality of Items

We are so grateful for anything that you can contribute to aiding us in our ministry! There are a few things that we ask when it comes to what donations are coming in. We are grateful for clothing donations, however, please avoid donating clothing with holes and major stains. Our heart is to bring people to restoration, preserve their dignity, and communicate the value God has for them. As such we want to avoid giving clothing that may miscommunicate this. A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself, “would I wear this to a job interview/ out in public?”

Where Do I Donate?

Please bring items you would like donate to the Northwest Campus during normal hours (Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5pm). Please bring supplies to the front desk and inform the receptionist that the items are donations for Grace Marketplace. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact the Grace Marketplace Campus Resident at aavalos@greenhousechurch.org.
