Below is a compendium of Bible studies, topical studies, and even some one-night studies that you can use however you want. Use them verbatim, edit them, pick and choose, or whatever is going to help your microchurch make disciples!
We know that you, our microchurch leaders, spend multiple hours a week making disciples, taking late night phone calls, and reorienting your lives for the sake of your microchurch… so if there is anything we can do to help lighten the load of leadership we want to help! With this in mind, we have created a small (but growing!) resource library for you to utilize as a microchurch leader. The hope is that this will help you save the time you usually spend finding a curriculum or coming up with a teaching each week because the work of finding curriculums and teachings has already been done for you.
Let’s just be clear: we are not trying to recreate the wheel or pretend we have a market on awesome microchurch curriculums. Some of them were created in-house and some of them were authored by people and churches outside of the Greenhouse Movement. To us, where they were created is not the point. The point is are they going to help with discipleship and spiritual growth within your microchurch. That is the end goal! So with that in mind, we are going to be adding at least 1-2 studies a month to the every growing list and hopefully have a pretty great resource library for our microchurch leaders.
And if you come across a great study that you think would be a good addition here, let Pastor Matt know at !
The Green Book: This is a 13 week discipleship curriculum that focuses on Greenhouse's leadership fluencies. It has discussion questions throughout each chapter, Scriptures to memorize together, and other built in discipleship resources.
Get in the Boat: This is a guide for anyone wanting to figure out how to make disciples in their own life. It was designed to be used individually, one on one, or in a microchurch context.
The Bible Project
The Bible Project: For a pretty amazing animated recap of every book in the Bible along with specific topics (such as holiness, atonement, covenant, etc), check out The Bible Project. This would be great to watch the 6-10 minute overview of the book that you are about to study or to tailor a study around one of the stand alone theological topics they address.
