Welcome To Northwest Campus
Our Northwest campus is located at 2925 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville, FL. We are a diverse spiritual family- a multi-generational, multi-culture, and multi-ethnic group united in our love for God and one another. We are very committed to building authentic community and getting together more than just on Sunday mornings, as we make an impact in the Gainesville community.
Where is Northwest Campus?
Greenhouse Church Northwest campus is located in Gainesville, FL. You can click here to access a Google map of the area and get directions from your departing locations.
What time does service start?
Service begins at 9:00am and 10:45am on Sundays.
Where do we park?
A member of our parking team will help you find a spot to park as you enter our property. Please let them know if you are a senior citizen, have kids, or need special parking.
Can I bring my kids?
Of course! We love kids at Greenhouse and offer age-appropriate environments where your kids (birth-5th grade) will learn about Jesus and the Bible on their own level. We have excellent, well-trained children's and nursery workers who have passed all necessary background check requirements. We ask that you check your kids into our children's area so that your children can enjoy a service tailored specifically to their age group. If you'd feel more comfortable having your kids attend service with you however, this is also acceptable.
Is there a special place for nursing moms?
There is a room set apart for nursing mothers in the Kids Hall, with a TV that will be streaming the live church service for you to watch.
Is there a place for my teenagers?
Teens are always welcome in any of our services. At the 9am Sunday service, we now have a special new opportunity for middle school students (grades 6-8). After worship ends in the main services, your middle schooler can meet a youth leader in the lobby who will lead them over to the L-Building for small groups. The groups will offer Bible studies, games, activities, group discussions, and fun times of fellowship with other middle school students.
On Wednesday nights at 7pm our youth ministry, SWEAT, hosts a worship service for all 6th-12th graders. You can get more information about SWEAT Youth HERE.
What are the services like?
Each service is typically 80-90 minutes, and has a time of worship, Bible-based preaching, announcements, and an offering, but not always in that order!
Are the sermons preached live or from video?
On Sunday mornings, all services in Auditorium B will have a time of worship and live preaching. Mike Patz, lead pastor of Greenhouse Church in Gainesville, will normally deliver the message. The Auditorium A service meets simultaneously on the property with live worship and the message streamed in live from Auditorium B. First time guest? Join us in Auditorium B! The different auditoriums are distinguished by the letters "A" and "B" posted on the exterior of each building.
How does the music sound? What kind of music do you play?
We have worship teams led by Steve Adams in Auditorium B and Michael Davis in Auditorium A. The style here ranges from gospel, hymns, contemporary, rock, and more. Our worship team represents different cultures and creative expressions, so you can expect anything! Our aim is to please God through these expressions rooted in diversity and unity, so that through this we can serve and lead our faith family to worship God.
What should I wear?
Most of us wear casual clothes, but some people like to dress up. We'd like to think you will be as comfortable in a T-shirt and jeans as you would be in a business suit.
Is there someone that can help me get situated when I come to visit?
Yes! We know that coming to a new church for the first time can be intimidating. When you come for your visit, someone will greet you in the lobby and help get you and your family where you need to be. Our team of dedicated volunteers will do everything they can to make sure you have the best experience possible.
